Are you looking for that versatile horse well here she is is. This mare is capable of taking you for a nice trail ride to working a cow. We raised her w/ natural horsemanship methods. She has had 60 days w/ a trainer that also uses natural horsemanship methods. She has been trail ridden and we did start her on cows. She leads,loads and ties, up to date on vaccinations,worming and has had routine farrier work. Her sire has Canadian National Championships in Reining and Western Riding, he also has Alberta Appaloosa Championships in Reining and Western Riding. She’s been brought along slow so she has lots of years of use left ahead of her.

I purchased this mare in March of 07″and have not had a chance to ride her much.  With limited showing with her previous owners she received 10 Dressage points and .5 English Equitation with the ApHC thru the ACCAP  program. She took 3rd Place 2006 All-Breed Award DSHB and was a Finalist in 2006 Great American/USDE Breeders Championship West Central Series,  they also used her in the Black Hills to guide trail rides.  

My  4 year old grandson rode her in lead line at the BWApHC show in Aug.09 and the MPAHC Spring Classic horse show May 2010.

This is a very nice, balanced young mare with a lot of eye appeal. She has been started well. She is quiet and personable. She stands for the farrier, loads quietly in a trailer, stands for clippers and bath. Up to date on all vaccinations and has regular vet care including dental. She has been to horse shows, cattle brandings, the roping pen, and trail rides in the Nebraska Sandhills.  She is willing and accepting of whatever you throw at her. Doesn’t get angry or spooked when trying to teach her something new. Has been in professional training the last 6 months.  Her barn name is Lucy. She rides in both a snaffle and a curb bit.

Lucy is started at ApHC shows in trail, heeling and halter.  Has points in Jr Heeling, Jr Trail, 3 Y/O western pleasure,  and NonPro Hunter in Hand Mares. She has her ApHC Performance Permit. She will watch a cow and pay close attention.

This mare is sound. She has been to the Nebraska Sandhills to help at cattle brandings and used to move cattle in the pen. She has been trail riding (with novice riders) in the Nebraska National Forest. She was there recently ridden by a young adult.

She would make a great youth horse. We are selling her because we have too many horses.

Her mother, Totally Conspicuous, is out of Totally Impressed, the sire of The Hunter. The dam is HYPP N/N (tested).  She has points in Hunter in Hand Mares, and Hunter Under Saddle. Lucy’s sire is Zip Code One, a National Champion in Western Pleasure, known for siring good minded, all around horses, including ApHC Open and NonPro Supreme Champion Horse Applaud For Me.

Lucy is shown with her mother in one of the photos (Lucy is on the left). The older mare has a blaze and four socks, and roaning in flanks and mane. If you are looking for a broodmare, we would consider selling the dam also.
